The Deep Robust and Explainable AI Lab (DeepREAL) at University of Delaware is seeking for strong candidates to join the CIS Department starting at Fall 2025.

We are looking for PhD:
- Publication(s) in ML, CV, NLP (Master) / Research experiences (Bachelor);
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
- Excellent GPA records (top 15%);
- Proficient coding skills in Python or C/C++.
Research Directions (can be personalized by interests):
- Vision-Language Models;
- Large Foundation Models;
- Diffusion Models;
- Explainable and Interpretable Machine Learning (XAI);
- Domain Adaptation/Generalization (OOD);
